Amy Lin Meyerson is a sole practitioner in Weston, Connecticut. She practices in the area of domestic corporate law, concentrating in formation and growth of emerging businesses and nonprofits, intellectual property protection and development, computer law and venture capital. Martindale-Hubbell has awarded her with an AV Preeminent rating, which identifies a lawyer with preeminent legal ability, ethical standards, integrity and overall professional excellence.
She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut School of Law, teaching and leading the Transactional Law Clinic.
Amy is the Co-chair of the Connecticut Hate Crimes Advisory Council, a member on the Council of the American Bar Association's Fund for Justice and Education (2024-present), a former member on the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association (2021-2024), and a Past President of the Connecticut Bar Association (2000-2021). She is a Past President of the NAPABA Law Foundation (2016-2018), a Past Chair of the American Bar Association's Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division (2014-2015), and a Past President of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) (2005-2006).
Before opening her own firm in April 2004, Amy engaged in the practice of corporate law, commercial law, securities law, computer law, Internet law and telecommunications law on behalf of Internet-based and other high-technology businesses (public and private) with a corporate boutique in Stamford, CT. Prior to working in Stamford, Amy practiced corporate law, computer law, telecommunications (regulatory and transactional) law and commercial law on behalf of information technology companies in Atlanta, GA and drafted and negotiated interconnection, collocation, custom service, billing, and global virtual private network agreements. She also has worked in the Corporate Practice Group of a large global law firm in New York City and clerked for a U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge in Hartford, CT.
